A short vacation close by

I was supposed to hold a workshop, through Acecamp. Instead I went to the swedish westcoast archipelago over the weekend. I wanted to bring you there! I think you would love it (depending on the weather of course). Maybe next year.

Spring Workshop!

I thought to tell you a bit more about the workshop with me, held by Ace Camp in Gothenburg in May 27 - June 1, 2019.

We will be in a wonderful studio with roof windows at Konstepidemin. Konstepidemin consists of 14 buildings surrounded by a large park. More than 130 artists from diverse artistic fields have their studios here. I am one of the lucky ones :-) There is also an Art Gallery and a restaurant. If we are lucky maybe we can visit one of the other artists in their studio.
Three of the days are for working in the studio and the other ones are free for excursions. If the weather is nice we can take a trip to the ocean and the archipelago for example, or visit a nice café if the weather is not. Take a peak in to the greatest children book store I know about. I’ll show you my favorite places. I will of course also show you my studio and some of my work! We will drink coffee with cookies and a glass of wine while tasting something typical swedish.

And about the working part :-) You will think about three words. Three words that means something for you. It can be three words that stands for you for example. Or words to strengthen you. You will then use these words in your work. One day we will work on making something small - much bigger. Things happens in the process, some things get lost and some appear. The other day you’ll work with collage with vintage or painted paper. And the last day you will work with a folded 8 page fanzine. I think it will be wonderfully fun :-) I’m already excited and is truly looking forward to meet you and work with you!! <3
