They are so pretty, but blacklisted here in Norway. Too many of them... They used to plant them on the sides of the road too.
I've loved the week of plants so much. There are many that I don't see here (East Coast US: climate is too warm, soil is wrong) that I miss from Sweden. The lupines in particular--I've seen them grow up by railroad tracks in SW Sweden.
